Phillip Dow was recently elected mayor in 2018 but he has been serving the community of Lone Oak for over a decade. He served as a council member for 12 years before his mayoral election and over the span of those years has been instrumental in facilitating the town’s fiscal responsibilities as well as fortifying the ties within the community.  He strives to help Lone Oak grow so that others may experience the beauty and serenity of the town that both he and his father came to call home so long ago. When off duty you can find him scuba diving, selling his canned products at local farmers’ markets, or hanging out at the town’s old country store chasing nostalgia.
