An old Victorian house and a dream of a goat farm is what brought Jennifer Lamb to Lone Oak in 2016. She quickly became enamored with her home and the sense of pride and community that the small town radiates.  Elected in 2019, she may be the newest member of the town council but she hit the ground running and has been actively pursuing ways in which to augment the town’s growth and share its rich history. Every month you can find her at the town’s historic Community Building where she helps host the community potluck dinners that also serve as town meetings. When not attending to matters in the community, she’ll be found at home nurturing and fulfilling her dream: raising her chickens, cows, and pygmy goats.
